"This last November I had a Pearl Treatment done. I found a practitioner who was willing to use Medical Barrier Cream on my face and décolleté after the treatment. She applied it liberally, and warned me that in an hour or so, I was likely to feel a hot sensation in the areas that had been treated.

The industry standard post-treatment protocol is to slather the face with Aquaphor immediately after the treatment. Then the patient is instructed to replenish the Aquaphor at least 3 times a day until the peeling is complete. Patients are also given gauze facial masks (the kind with holes for the eyes and mouth). For comfort, the patients can saturate a mask with apple cider vineage, put it on their face for awhile, and get relief from the hot sensation that is present for the first two days. I wanted to let you know that I am prone to sties on my eyelids when I get stressed out.  This has been going on for a couple of years.  I had a major one about 2 years ago and it was horrible.  I have been using Epionce cleanser and toner for 1.5 years now.  I was somewhere last fall when I felt the tell-tale tingling and tenderness on my eyelid.  Then I saw the red spot.  I usually have some sterile eyewash with me, but I was out.  So, in desperation I used the  Purifying Lytic Toner on my eyelid.  I did it at night before bed, and once again in the morning before I went to work.  And, miracle!  The sty disappeared!
